Position Title: Director of Workforce Development

Position Responsibilities:

Leading and driving Workforce Development initiatives across multiple counties.
- Supervising Career Services staff, and growing the team.
- Serving as a senior member on Leadership Team, which crafts and implements the strategic plan of the organization.
- Build and maintain effective, collaborative relationships among employers, educational institutions, training organizations, labor unions, industry associations, regional economic development agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen and build efficient pathways to career opportunities for On Point students.
- Represent On Point and its students’ interests in local and regional economic planning initiatives.
- Build relationships with potential funders, businesses and public sector agencies that could lead to income streams for On Point.
Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or similar.
- One to three years of experience in and increasing management responsibilities in workforce and career development programs.
- Three to five years of experience in developing, implementing, managing and evaluating programs and supervising personnel.
- Experience developing partnerships among organizations such as institutions of higher education, the public sector, and the business community.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision with attention to details.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, with the ability to travel regionally to accommodate the needs of the program.
- Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite programs including PowerPoint and Google documents.

Salary:
- $102,000-$110,000 per year / 40-hour work week / 9:00am – 5:00pm / Monday thru Friday
Benefits:
Holidays include Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the Friday after. We also offer paid leave from 12/24 thru 1/1 for full-time employees.
