Location: We are currently hiring one position for our Syracuse office

Report to: Director of College Success

Position Overview:
Guiding and supporting students to achieve their goals by providing personalized academic advice, monitoring progress, identifying potential roadblocks, and connecting them to relevant resources to ensure they stay on track to successfully complete their educational or professional journey.
Position Responsibilities:
- Travel to college campuses, mainly in New York State. Advise college students in resolving financial, academic, and social issues through advocacy, clear action steps, and referrals to campus services
- Provide on-campus transfer services from 2-year to 4-year colleges
- Assist students in renewing Financial Aid Renew
- Identify and recruit volunteer “campus angels” on college campuses to support our students
- Monitors student progress and maintain student records; provide appropriate data for purposes of reporting organizational effectiveness
- Keep detailed information on the progress of each student and any changes in contact information
- Work under the supervision of the Director of Success

- A proactive approach in addressing students' academic challenges and personal development needs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years of work experience preferred within an academic setting
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed/requested.
Salary:
- $44,000 per year / 40-hour work week / 9:00am – 5:00pm / Monday thru Friday
Benefits:
Positions receive a laptop or desktop, mobile phone, scanner, and portable printer to use so staff can work from other locations (school districts, community centers, etc.).
Holidays include Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Friday after. We also offer paid leave from 12/24 thru 1/1 to full-time employees.
On Point also:
- Covers 90% of the Health Insurance cost (individual or family plans)
- Pays the premiums for a $10,000 Life Insurance Policy while employed

- Covers AAA membership while employed
- Reimburses mileage for work-related travel
