Nominate an Outstanding Student or Grad

Each year, On Point for College's Syracuse and Utica offices hold "Celebration Dinners" to recognize the achievements of some of our outstanding students and graduates. Syracuse's awards dinner is held in the spring, while Utica's is held each fall.

To be considered for an award, students or graduates must be enrolled in the On Point for College program and either actively enrolled in college or have graduated from at least a two-year degree program. The accomplishments of the individuals selected to receive these awards are varied and numerous. Often they are dedicated community servants, volunteering at church, with youth groups, or over school breaks. In other instances, they have demonstrated significant skill or achievement in their chosen career field, such as winning industry awards, starting successful businesses, being accepted for fellowships, or obtaining noteworthy professional degrees like doctorates. Finally, awardees may have demonstrated a particular passion for promoting access to higher education.  

With over 3,000 students currently enrolled in college and close to 3,000 graduates it is nearly impossible for On Point for College to keep track of the achievements of all of our students and graduates. For this reason, we would like to invite our friends and supporters to fill out the below form to alert us to any students or graduates that you think should be on our radar. Not quite sure if they'd qualify for an award? Nominate them anyway!

Please note that while we appreciate and will review all nominations, a nomination does not guarantee final selection. Also, there may be variation in the types of awards given in Syracuse and Utica. Nominations will be considered based on the types of awards available at the student/graduate's home On Point for College office.
